Brazilian Cream life cycle and consequences for stakeholders

Brazilian Creams life cycle

What Is the Product Life Cycle?

The Product Life Cycle is a management tool that makes it possible to analyze how a product behaves from its development to its withdrawal from the market, also considering its launch, growth, and sales maturity.

A product's life cycle is usually broken down into four stages; introduction, growth, maturity, and decline. Product life cycles are used by management and marketing professionals to help determine advertising schedules, price points, expansion to new product markets, packaging redesigns, and more.

But before these four steps, or before the product starts to generate revenue, you still need to work on some final details. This pre-stage is called the Development Stage. In this phase, Brazilian Creams will improve its proposal, carry out tests, validate the hypotheses and make the necessary changes.

Now let's analyze the stages of the Braziliam Cream life cycle

1- Introduction Phase

In the introduction phase, our products will be ready to be launched on the market.

At this stage, profit is not the most important thing and sometimes it is normal to have more expenses than profit. In this phase, Brazilian Cream will present the product to the target audiences and invest some resources in promoting the product.

2- Growth Phase

If the first phase is done well, we will reach the product growth phase. The major characteristics of this stage are scalable sales and the preservation of marketing budgets.

Brazilian Cream at this stage will continue investing in marketing and projecting the company for the future. We will be able to see the acceptance of our products in Canada and we hope it will be a success. From our studies of the introduction phase, we already expect a good profit during this phase.

3- Maturity Phase

Maturity is the peak, the highest point of the Product Life Cycle.

Arriving at this stage, we hope to have already recovered the money invested and I, the owner of Brazilian Cream and my investment partners, will already be profiting as expected in the initial study.

The challenge for Brazilian Creams at this stage is to stay as long as possible profiting and using this money to strengthen the company's foundations and design new projects.

4- Decline Phase

This phase is different from one company to another, some last years while others months and some like Coca-Cola never reached this stage. But the market trend is that all companies will eventually go downhill.

We at Brazilian Creams will plan so that on the day our products go into decline we can reinvent ourselves and imagine new products, ideas or services so that the company can continue to exist.
